Happy Easter from Paris

Left from the newly renovated St Pancras on the Eurostar. What a spectacular building and what a brilliant job they have done in renovating it. It is now only 41/2 hours train travel from Leeds to Paris ( not counting transfer or connection time!) Can you believe it. !! Robbie's flight phobia is really making his carbon footprint look good! and there you have it, one of the worlds most famous icons!! We stayed within walking distance behind the Eiffel Tower. Being an early Easter- it was still absolutely freezing.
Took in a few sights including Napoleon's resting place, the army museum. VERY big coffin, I say!! They actually went back to St Helen's where he was killed 19 years later, dug him up, and put his 'favourite tunic' on and took him home to rest here in Paris in the 'Armee Museum'.
The equivalent of Cleopatra's needle- The french took one from Egypt too!!
