Byland Abbey and surrounding area- what a great walk.

the abbey inn- looked like a nice place for a meal or even to spend the night.

great 2 1/2 hour walk around the surrounding area of the abbey,

part of which includes a nice forest track.

took the family to Beverley and the north yorkshire moors, time for a yorkshire tea at the cheapest tea shop in the country, a stop at Fountains Abbey and Robin Hoods Bay and finally a windy wintery walk across Malharm Tarn in the Dales- pushing Dad and Fay up a huge waterfall and dragging Steph along much to her chagrin!

here's some highlights of the year so far. The arrival of Ollie to Marcel and Sam, the fockers going on tour for Adrian and Melissa's wedding- getting dad out of Australia in the process and of course visiting the giant beaver in Alberta- had to be done!!
