Christmas Day in Kirkbymoorside

Look at the size of that prawn. once again Dorothy put on an incredible spread with a chicken inside a duck inside a chicken- a yorkshire specialty- called...'a dicken'- seriously!. Lots of brussel sprouts and chestnuts and something unusual- celeriac with blue cheese- very nice. all topped off with homemade Damson gin.

Christmas Eve in Beverley

Just enough Gin to feel a little car sick heading to mike and dorothy's but not enough gin to knock me out after aching muscles from the gym keeping me and hence robbie awake all night. Relieved to be up with Ellie to see her open all her santa pressies. Look a new bar in my honour. very nice inside too!

Christmas is coming

Christmas in Loddington

Denni plays christmas host and cooks a fine christmas sunday dinner in Loddington with Chris, Nick and Erica. spent the saturday evening with Paula and Andy and Mark and Mandy dining on one of Andy's finest chilli's.

Family meal in the wee pub in Robin Hoods Bay
cream tea in the tea shop gardens

took the family to Beverley and the north yorkshire moors, time for a yorkshire tea at the cheapest tea shop in the country, a stop at Fountains Abbey and Robin Hoods Bay and finally a windy wintery walk across Malharm Tarn in the Dales- pushing Dad and Fay up a huge waterfall and dragging Steph along much to her chagrin!
